ChronoAI Technologies Private Limited ("ChronoAI", "we", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our services, and your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDPA).

We collect data necessary to provide our time tracking service, including:

Account information (name, email, company details)
Calendar metadata (meeting titles, durations, participants) — never message content
Computer activity metadata (application names, window titles, durations)
Usage analytics to improve our product

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to generate your time tracking reports and provide the ChronoAI service. We do not sell your data to third parties. Individual activity data is encrypted with your personal key — even ChronoAI cannot read it.

3. Data Residency

All data is stored in India-based data centres in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Your data does not leave Indian jurisdiction without your explicit consent.

4. Your Rights

Under the DPDPA 2023, you have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data. You may also withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at privacy@chronoai.in to exercise your rights.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all personal data is purged within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymised data may be retained for analytics purposes.

6. Security

We use end-to-end encryption, two-factor authentication, and regular security audits. Individual timesheet data is encrypted with personal keys; team-level data with shared company keys.
